Frequently asked questions

For live online classes, we connect through Zoom, a user-friendly platform. When you sign up for a live class, you will automatically receive the Zoom link in your email, ahead of time. Just click on the Zoom link and follow the prompts to join the session.

Beginning in spring 2024, my library of pre-recorded, on-demand classes will be available. These are easy to use and give you even more flexibility to pursue yoga practice.

If you've never joined a Zoom meeting, you may find the following link helpful.

Go to the SCHEDULE tab to sign up (register) for a single class. Simply click on the class you wish to take, and you will receive the Zoom link for that class.

If you already know that you want multiple classes, I recommend that you sign up for a Membership under the CLASS PASSES tab (it’s way more economical). But please note: You still have to register for each individual class that you wish to take, so that I can send you the Zoom links for each class.

To help you keep track, I will send your Zoom link(s) immediately when you register and again 2 hours before the scheduled class.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

When you register for my class(es), you will be prompted for payment. For your convenience, I use Stripe to securely process payments online. You may pay by credit or debit card (at no extra charge to you).

To take my online yoga class, you'll need a few basic things:

1. A device with an internet connection: You can take the Zoom class on a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Just make sure the internet connection is reliable.

2. A quiet, distraction-free space: Find a place where you can practice without distraction or interruption. It may be helpful to let others know that you'll be taking a class, so they can avoid disturbing you.

3. A yoga mat: Your yoga mat provides cushioning and traction for hands and feet, making it easier to move through poses. Please check out the MY FAVORITE PRODUCTS tab for my recommendations.

4. Other equipment (optional): Blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters may be helpful to your yoga practice.

5. Heater and humidifier (optional): While Hot Yoga may not be for everyone, practicing in a warm, moist environment allows a deeper stretch, while reducing the risk of injury. In addition, sweating provides a valuable pathway for detoxification.

Having your camera on for a Zoom class allows me to offer specific feedback. It also helps to build a sense of community, when we can see each other and put names and faces together.

That said, it is your choice to keep your camera on or off. Once you have joined the Zoom class, you will see an icon of a camera. If there is a line through it, your camera is off.

If a particular posture does not feel comfortable or you do not feel ready to try it, feel free to sit that one out. Such issues may be addressed in Private Yoga Therapy.

If you have purchased a Premium Membership, you can cancel your registration up to an hour before the Live Zoom class is scheduled to start.

If you purchased a single Live Zoom class you cannot cancel your registration. The class fee is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel a Yoga Therapy Session, please give me 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment time.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time from your User Profile. Click on the "Membership" tab and you will see an option to cancel your membership.
