I took my first yoga class in 2001, while working on my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Then and there, I knew that yoga would always be a part of my life. I graduated from naturopathic school in 2004 and, one year later, became certified in Bikram Yoga. I have taught at yoga studios in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
After years of working with patients and yoga students, I came to appreciate the value of yoga as a primary therapeutic modality. In 2020, I decided to take further advanced training and entered the 850-hour Yoga Therapy program at Prema Yoga Institute in NYC. In 2023, I received my certification as a Yoga Therapist from the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). I aim to create a loving and safe space in which my students can heal and reach their highest potential. When I am not teaching or practicing yoga, I most enjoy time with my family and animals on our farm.
