Gentle Yoga

This class offers a more traditional approach to yoga. It is offered at a slow pace and the exercises are accessible to most people with average activity level. We focus on yoga that is calming and balancing for the nervous system. Class always includes a gentle warm-up followed by asanas (postures). Sometimes a guided meditation and traditional pranayama (breathing exercises) are also incorporated into the session. You should come away from this class feeling more relaxed and ready to start your day.

Fire Flow

This class is a Vinyasa-style flow, adapted from traditional yoga. It is a slower-paced flow of postures with emphasis on strength, balance, and mobility. The time spent in each posture allows you to focus on the details of the posture and reinforces the mind-body connection. The coordination of breath with movement has a balancing effect on the nervous system. This class is appropriate for beginners and advanced students, alike. However, it does require an intermediate level of fitness. You should leave this class feeling refreshed and like you have had an intermediate level workout.
